Salerno takes center stage for the future of European university sports. From May 29 to June 1, 2025, the city proudly hosts the EUSA – EUG 2026 Convention, bringing together key stakeholders involved in the planning and delivery of the upcoming European Universities Games (EUG) 2026.

The Convention, held at the Grand Hotel Salerno and the University of Salerno, will feature plenary sessions, working groups, venue inspections, and networking opportunities. Participants include representatives from the European University Sports Association (EUSA), technical delegates from previous and future editions (EUG 2024, 2028, and 2030), the EUG 2026 Local Organising Committee, and national technical delegates.

A key moment of the event will be Friday, May 30, dedicated to progress updates on EUG 2026 preparations, including sports venues, competition programs, accreditation processes, volunteers, media and communication, and ceremony planning.

This Convention is a crucial milestone on the road to EUG 2026, which will welcome over 5,000 student-athletes from across Europe. It also represents a unique opportunity to build connections, share best practices, and promote a vision of sport that is inclusive, sustainable, and community-driven.
